Hink Yes, it was a generalisation, and thus there are exceptions. I know there are lots of talented people using FL, and I am willing to apologise to you about the generalisation. Still, as far as the forums go, the majority of FL users have proven it to fit

Just to see the next obvious answer / conclusion / remark, I won't comment the issue other than it could be taken that this once again directs the conversation elsewhere from the original points raised... or?-)

Once more, I've had no issues regarding FL and ImagineLine and especially Gol, all my experiences have been positive with them, especially them answering questions posed by people who aren't their customers.

Spaceman, all I can reply to you is that you surely seem to disagree on the contents of the discussion, fine - but it's still readable to anyone else. As for "bringing up old shit", naturally I can only reply to anything when it's possible for me - I would have answered directly to each post if it wasn't for these annoying habits such as sleeping, eating, daily chores and such

Bringing up "old news" was also done in order to once more ground my opinions and beliefs, especially since someone's view on this discussion seemed to differ a lot from how I've seen it going. Nothing else. As for the remarks and such... yeah, we can let it but I still stand by my opinion that I did not initiate it on my part when it comes to anything directed at you, I held back a couple of posts just to see where things are heading. And yes, I once more read the whole thread because I got interested in that part Mirabebe quoted (and for a good reason, I might add).

Your posts are too long - it's a very labour intensive process for me to comprehend them.

Try reaching a point by means of well placed concise statements and once it's accomplished - feel free to add more to elaborate, but expect it to be optional reading.

If you need practice - study WhyteRabbyt. His approach to arguing knocks the air out of me. It's exhausting and he wins by default because his opponents die of old age or get eaten by apathy.

Hink Yeah, my opinion naturally applies only to other forums since the only glimpses of ImageLine's forums I've had have been when.. uhh, there was a thread regarding some possible new feature once, perhaps a voting thing or something, that was viewable by non-registered users =)

I know that back in the day IL had their forums open and I know why they closed them from the general public - and think it was a smart move indeed.

(Dare I add that these kind of threads make it rather clear why

I hope no egos have been bruised so far and we can make this a meaningful discussions and hopefully we'll see questions posted after the beginning answered

Oh well... partly the reason for long posts is that I try to explain everything, backgrounds, reasons, etc. so it'll be as clear as possible and thus avoids the typical comebacks, questions that are likely to be asked and such. Actually, longtime ircing and forum whoring have taught me to add as much to the issue as possible in order to see things rolling on instead of not moving when every little detail is questioned and explanations are wanted every time and so on...

And yeah, WhyteRabbyt rocks He's my alltime KVR hero, his skill with sticking into logic combined with the way he words his opinions, facts, etc...
