What synths have the best visual feedback, such as animated envelopes, filters etc?

So far, Serum seems to be the best I can find. I love how not only do modulators animate, but also the parameters they are targeting.

I love the animated envelopes in Circle2, but the targeted parameters don't animate which is unfortunate.

While many will say just use your ears, I think there is a precision that visualization adds that really adds a new dimension to sound design.

If anyone has found anything that beats Serum or Circle2 in the visual display area, I'd love to hear any thoughts!

Serum has more and clearer visual feedback than any other synth I've tried.

Personally, I think it is good for initially learning the synth. Once I know a synth, I just don't need it. So in the case of Serum, I wish there was a GUI version without the graphical feedback because it takes up lots of space and because of that there are too many tabs which makes the workflow slower.

I prefer GUI's that are designed for the proficient user, rather than the beginner. Obviously lots of people think the Serum GUI is one of the best, so they made a good choice and I'm a minority but it is not to my liking.

Corona was our first synth to provide visual feedback for cutoff and modulation knobs. We could go further and apply those to modulation matrix faders as well.

Circle has one thing for it and it is the colors for each section, serum looks more uniform in contrast. But I don't there are others apart from those two which have enough animation.

Indeed. I've not seen anything else where the mod visualisation has a time-based component. It's easy to understand audio-rate modulations at a glance as well as the more usual LFO modulations in Madrona synths.
