er, we were going to be 'The Bastard Sons of Nietzsche' but we changed it to 'The Bastard Sons of Peter Wyngarde' as the other one was to Joy Division-esque, and we were a Baroque covers band. We put the Rock into BaROCK!
We only did one gig. Drunk. We were glorious!

Read a book years ago about Pink Floyd. When they first started rehearsing, they used the space in the basement of a large hotel. As they also ventured upstairs occasionally to back local singers, the hotel manager referred to them as 'The Underground House Band'.
That is still my fav unused name ever, have it on me!

Hmmm....I have a word document of about 700 band names. I would always keep adding to it...but haven't in a while. Let me peruse, and report back!

"Prepare to Qualify" is a pretty cool name.
In that vein "Run Coward!" would also be a cool, retro-arcade name (just something Sinistar about it).
Actually, hold on, I'm taking Run Coward for my own. This is the band name Dr. Apostrophe X made up himself. Please, don't steal it.
But I always thought "Lukemia Benefit" would be a cool name for a band because when they put it on the marquee everyone would show up to help out.

I like "prepare to qualify", "figment", and "untroubled"...
My favorite band name, though, would be "Anti-social Butterfly"...(taken from an episode of "Drop-In", BTW)
Anyway, look forward to hearing your band Eric!
