Prosoniq PiWarp
Just seen the product page for that .... Copyright 1999 .... So it's taken then 15+ years to just reskin Prosoniq's app ?!

Like George Bush so eloquently said: "Wait and see."

Personally, I am not shure I will be able to buy it - there are other candidates like Crusher-X 6, and I do need a new computer - but I am very interested in this Wormhole, yes.

Zynaptiq don't just 'reskin' old Prosoniq's products. Take a look at what they did with Morph, it's beyond a simple reskin. It's a total rewrite of the code, optimization and new features added.

I guess it's the same thing for Wormhole.

When you listen to the NAMM demo it's miles ahead.

Ah that's good to know - To be fair to Zynaptiq I never heard Prosoniq's version of Morph, was it a considerable upgrade in terms of sound quality ?

Very. The old Prosoniq Morph to be honest sounded like crap. They really cranked up & pushed the quality of the whole thing.

How beautiful is this morphing dry/wet! :) It's really cool plugin. Normally to recreate some of these effects a lot of automation and different plugins are needed. Too bad it will be too expensive for me :D

Yes Morph is a very usable tool. At first glance I thought their pricing was a little high for all their products but then I tried Morph and I could see the reason. Highest of high quality. Morphing 2 plucks playing the same thing..really nice results.
I can see wormhole selling big especially for ambient and future bass producers. Still think their reverb plugin is a little high though.

But soooooo good.
And about Wormhole, I first thought it was primarily for weird voice alterations and the like, which is not my thing.
But no, just listen to those ambient patches and movements in the NAMM vids. This is like a sister to Adaptiverb and it surely is as mouthwatering.

Bloody PluginBoutique! - typed Zynaptiq into my searchbar to go to their site and it took me to PluginBoutique, turns out they have 'arranged' things so any search for this (and presumably other plugin manufacturers) ranks them first - and they don't even seem to sell anything by Zynaptiq.

Post

Just tried that myself as I thought 'that can't be right.....?!' and yep searching 'Zynaptiq' in Google leads to pluginboutique being the top result - "Zynaptiq Plugins - Available At PluginBoutique - pluginboutique.com‎ Buy Zynaptiq plugins at PluginBoutique & earn Bonus Rewards with each purchase.". And yep no Zynaptiq products at all on their store :?

Surely they can't do that - Isn't that called something like 'SEO poisoning' or something ....

Just downloaded Wormhole and ran through the presets. Fab effect unit and also – quite demanding of the CPU!

I tried Wormhole in Live 9.7 on my travelling MacBook Air mid 2013, OS 10.9.5, 8GB RAM, using internal audio, and many presets crackled a lot. So, I'd suggest putting the trial through its paces before splashing out the dough.
