It's done programatically through a facility the AU API has for defining factory presets. Logic then decides what to do with that. Normally you are not able to change these presets which is perhaps why they don't show up in the browser? Some hosts ignore the factory presets completely, which was part of the reason I added preset menus.aMUSEd wrote:That's fine, but I still don't understand why Logic is seeing the factory ones and naming them in the drop down browser but not in the library, they should be the same.

I have saved copies of the presets as aupresets with names now so they show properly in the library - don't know if it's OK to post them if anyone wants to use them?

Great - absolutely okay to post them.aMUSEd wrote:I have saved copies of the presets as aupresets with names now so they show properly in the library - don't know if it's OK to post them if anyone wants to use them?
BTW, the GUI in the 1.1 update is color corrected. The green tint has been removed and it's brighter and clearer. As I recall you had some concerns about that.

I recently tried the demo, but the GUI comes out completely garbled.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/t1jz8oyurlf0sy4/P900.png?dl=0
I am on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.10.5 using Reaper64 (5.35/64).
I did not apply for the 14day trial license (yet) but just clicked the 'DONE' in the authorization window.
The stuff appearing where the knobs should be are segments of the graphics of other programs I had open at that time (in this case Powerpoint), or parts of the screen background. It seems to access some (very) wrong memory there.
Did anybody else have that problem?
Cheers,
Martin
[EDIT] Sorry, the embedded picture does not seem to work. Added a link to the picture on dropbox.

Hi,
You need to change the "Use Layers" setting in the context menu under "Host Preferences". This is an unfortunate artifact in the graphics API being used, which requires different configurations depending on host and OS version.

Thanks for the info. Where would I find this menu? In reaper, the plugin does not seem to have any other controls, or menus.

On a trackpad, click with two fingers with the (mouse) pointer over the plugin window. Right click with a mouse. If that doesn't work, you may need to enable 'secondary click' in System Preferences.martin_l wrote:pulsarmodular wrote:Hi,

OK. I found the menu now. Unfortunately, if I enable "Use Layers" the GUI does not show at all anymore. Are the any more compatibility settings I might have to use on my system?

There aren't any more settings. Are you running this on Mavericks or Yosemite? There are some GUI issues on those older OS versions but it should run without problems on El Capitan and Sierra.martin_l wrote:pulsarmodular wrote:On a trackpad, click with two fingers with the (mouse) pointer over the plugin window.
