Does your cat like the Beatles?

Well, I once had a discussion about sociopaths with my brother. I asked him "And how can you tell if one is a sociopath?". He said "Sociopaths have no ability to relate to music." And I'm like "Boolsheet, you pulled that out of your hemorrhoidal posterior." And he said "No, I read it from a thick book.". And I said "Go back to listening to the GoGos, or better yet how about putting your computer programming skills to use and make me a scrabble study program.". And he said "Okay, for 400 dollars." And I said "I Love you bro". Not really.

Anyways, I am almost 100 percent sure all cats are sociopaths. It seems to me the thing that my cat enjoys most is killing mice, naturally. And giving me that "Feed me now, feed me now, you fool, get that can opener right now, this instance". Nature is mostly sociopathic, right? Except maybe for the elephants. Oh wait no, nature is also mostly about motherhood. Okay so... when I am playing music loud, especially Led Zeppelin, come to think of it, the cat was never nearby. I guess Robert Plant, to our cat, sounds just like a rival cat and is more scary than the neighbourhood actual cats.

What exactly about the Beatles that is mostly not likable to you?

They have the odd tune, but on average their way of writing and performing songs doesn't appeal to me. When it comes to 60's music The Doors appeal to me.

Have you even really heard most of their music?

I have heard a bit, especially their most well renowed album Sgt Pepper, which went on repeat for a period

Is their music too simple?

No, for pop music their writing is rather complex, just look at Eleanor Rigby or Blackbird

No, I found that pretty amusing.

I think McCartney a world-class, for all of time, musical genius. There are a number of songs of his I would not need to hear again. Over time I've come to find Lennon... suspect. I don't want to get into it, negativity, fuggit.
There are a couple of songs. Walrus, Strawberry Fields.

I would hear Paperback Writer any time. Objectively making an argument for superiority here, not my game. And I don't really care what other people think. BUT, it's just very musical, the contour of melodies, his innate understanding of what chords will promote the tune best, just golden ears, fantastic sense of harmony.
He really became the leader by Abbey Road and the others began to hate it.

There is an obscurer side to rather recent McCartney where you see him still exploring.

Abbey Road was huge for me at 14. This is a group that due to their success had all the time in the world to fail and fail some more amidst seriously clicking in the studio.

I'm not one to keep trying to relive experiences, so there's 6 or 9 songs I would even want to hear today.

Cats, they're predators by nature, y'know? So all of this domestication subverting nature kinda f**ks them up, I suppose.

My last roommates, a couple, well he had a cat he rescued off the streets of Chicago in the winter.
This cat was insecure. Insane in cat ways, but needy. He rather clung to me, he kept climbing up onto me and trying to put the back of his neck in my mouth, his mother must have carried him like that. Once when fish was frying he bit my feet as though I was the source of fish and was slacking and disappointingly un-godlike, it didn't happen instantly like already prepared fish had.
Ismail, his actual person was terrified he didn't have the sense not to run madly into the street and be killed.

Count me weird. In fact, by that criterion, I am certifiable. Best band ever. Even their contemporaries and many next generation groups cite them as a major influence. They were a one off, a perfect storm, that occasionally makes me believe in God.
