Below you will find the link to my Big Skinny MkII synth. It's in beta 3 right now. It's inspired my my Moog Slim Phatty and has morphable oscillators. Grab it for free and let me know what you think of what I have. As it's still in beta, it may have some bugs. Also, it was made with Synthedit. Thanks in advance for your input.

Hi Bayouland.
You never mentioned that it was 64 bit, that's why it wasn't detected on my 32 bit laptop
Reaper 64 bit V5.35 on my music pc detects it but your plugin crashes Reaper when trying to load it, i am running Windows 7 64 bit.

How can it be 64 bit if made with SynthEdit?Megawattt wrote:You never mentioned that it was 64 bit, that's why it wasn't detected on my 32 bit laptop![]()

Fixed issues in octaves and with text for waves. I can't duplicate issue in Reaper, but I am running Windows 10. If you just want to try the synth, run it in standalone. There is an application file in the folder to do that with.

Tried it in FL Studio 12.4 64 bit and it works fine.
It is quite an experience to see a SynthEdit plug listed as "VSTi V.2.4 (64bit - native)"
I thought it never would happen
The folder contains many *.sem files. Earlier I have usually deleted such files as they are automatically regenerated by Windows on next load up. But not in this case, if the *.sem files are deleted the plug will not load.

Yeah, this is one of the issues of the new version of Synthedit. But hey, at least it's x64, AND can make VST3, so those are two pluses. Thanks for trying it out. Let me know if you find any issues. BTW, when it is released, it will be free. I haven't come across any free Slim Phatty inspired synths, so I decided it was time.Numanoid wrote: The folder contains many *.sem files. Here is the screenshot. The synth follows the basic functions of the Slim/Little Phatty, with two morphing oscillators, an LFO, and basic Moog type filter. I added a Noise oscillator, which the hardware doesn't have. I'm not claiming that it sounds just like the hardware. Just inspired by. I may or may not add more features before final release. That's what this beta release is for. to work out the bugs and to get possible ideas.
