Fair enough, thanks for telling.bayouland wrote:I'm using stock and custom modules by other people. My c++ skills are still developing at the moment.
And, also great that SynthEdit is now able to export 64-bit, although it is limited to VST3 then?

You can render to 32 or 64 bit VST2 and 64 bit VST2 and VST3. I just uploaded the links in the 1st post for 32 bit and 64 bit VST2 and 64 bit VST3. All three have standalone VST hosts in the folders with then.

How long does it take to render a VST?bayouland wrote:You can render to 32 or 64 bit VST2 and 64 bit VST2 and VST3. I just uploaded the links in the 1st post for 32 bit and 64 bit VST2 and 64 bit VST3. All three have standalone VST hosts in the folders with then.
Same time for 32 bit / 64 bit, or does one take longer time ?

If SynthEdit sold stocks, this would be the time to buy. I predict a big resurgence of interest in it.
If it also will be possible to render OSX compatible VSTs: Think about all the previous SynthEdit creations in 32 bit, how much effort will it be for those devs to render their plugs now also as OSX VST ?

The only known bug I can find is the VST3 crashes Reaper. That's a known issue at the moment in Synthedit. The other versions seem to be fine. I'll be working on the final release in the next few days, which will include more patches. Maybe even some patches from my Slim Phatty. Hmm...
