I use chrome, and Firefox for TOR. They both worked. As mentioned above, one of them (I am guessing TOR/Firefox, as it doesn't have my login cached) popped up a window to login/register, but it had a veeeeery small "x" (ie close icon) in the top right. I clicked on that, and was then able to download it. You should not need to install or run any components to download from DropBox.
I would fathom a guess that QuickTime is used by the advertising; i.e. you do not need it to download. And I did not need to Login when using TOR. So neither is required to download from Dropbox. They are publicly available to anyone who has the link URL, even without a dropbox account.

On the Dropbox site in answer to same issue yesterday;
Dropbox wrote:Unfortunately the unspecified error is a current known issue and we are actively working on a fix for this issue. We will make sure to update you when the issue has been resolved.

I downloaded the latest version and my Antivirus promptly deleted it because it says it contains a virus. I didn't even had the chance to stop it.

I downloaded it without a problem with IE11 on Win7. I didn't get the "QuickTimeCheck" warning or need a dropbox account.bob bobwood wrote:Thanks. Not sure what's going off then, but I'll edit the other post if and when I resolve this issue. Perhaps it's IE and Win7 ?

Thanks 1wob2many, I just tried it again and it's working OK, so I'm guessing the issue with dropbox is fixed. I'll edit my previous posts. Sorry for taking it off topic John.

If you downloaded v1.0.0.23 I would not be surprised. Even I had a false positive on that version. But v1.0.0.24 works fine. What version are you talking about? and which AV are you using?SampleScience wrote:I downloaded the latest version and my Antivirus promptly deleted it because it says it contains a virus. I use Avast and downloaded the latest version of the Sfz builder. I don't even have the time to stop the anti virus that the files are gone! lol I think I'll try it on another computer.BulkSFZBuild wrote:If you downloaded v1.0.0.23 I would not be surprised. explicitly check the file version from File Explorer/Properties. I too use Avast, and found that I got a false positive as you did on the previous version ie v1.0.0.23. It was awkward filling in the false positive report trying to explain I had the source and therefore knew it wasn't malware.
I just uploaded a new version (links modified in first post). No functionality has changed, so no gains running the latest as opposed to v1.0.0.24. unless your having problems.
This version uses a different algorithm to protect the exe from being de-compiled and re-packaged by a third party with any additional modified code.

Hello,
Is this still available? I have some files I'd like to convert to a very basic SFZ quickly and this looks like it may do the trick, but the links are dead . . . .
