I've an issue with stereo on audio tracks in Cubase 7.5
I've added a stereo audio track.
I've plugged the microphone and I can hear the sound in both speakers (headphones actually) while recording..
But on playback there's only sound in one speaker.
Any idea?

Well, if the recodrign was in mono it wouldn't be panned out to one speaker. Right?chk071 wrote:Stupid question (i have no idea about recording), but, how can you record one mic in stereo?

He's saying that when you "audition" the mono mic you may hear it out of both speakers but if you "record" a stereo audio clip with a mono mic it will only record on one side (unless you feed the same mono signal to both sides somehow), and playing that back will only come out of one speaker since in the recording you made there's no audio on the other side of the stereo clip.
Record to a mono track and afterward, if you need to use stereo insert FX on it, move it to a stereo audio track.

Did you set up a mono input bus in VST Connections and use it as the input of the stereo track, as you should with a mono source? Interface software CP/ Mixer set up correctly?
