Hello,
I get a little bit tired of all this single licence and want to know if RE are an alternative to VST`S?
Can i route a RE like decimort 2 to an Ableton track?
Reason RE as Plugin alternative?

Dude you have Decimort 2 as VST plugin. You buys it and you add it to your Ableton channel. No need to route reroute what the hell...

No. Think of Rewire (the interface which allows you to use Reason in another DAW) as a one-way audio input. You can't route audio from an Ableton track into Decimort RE. You could route audio from a Reason synth into Ableton though, and then you can make use of the included, or third party fx. Reason is also "slave" only, which means that you can only route audio from Reason to another DAW with Rewire, not the other way. There is a possibility though to use VST's in Reason, but, that's audio in only too then, and you won't be able to make use of VST specific things like automation, and whatever, which has to be done in the hosting application. No syncing too though, as far as i'm aware.CharlyLN wrote:Hello,

As kmonkey wrote though, i don't quite get the "single license" thing. Maybe you could elaborate on that?

Sorry for this misunderstood. With ,, every single license´´ i mean that every new plugin needs a serial, or license file or new Licence activation system. RE has one number for all, equal what i choice from the Shop?
