I've been coming on here a while and haven't really posted. I just wanted to thank everyone here for participating in this community. Since I've arrived I've spent most of my time in the Sell and Buy forum - I'm building an ITB studio and so far, overall, I've spent on average less than 50% of the list price on all the software I've purchased, a few of which are thanks to this resource. I've had only good interactions purchasing software from other individuals on the forum. 20 years ago I wouldn't have been able to do so much with so little, and I'm thankful for it.
Also, I wanted to give a quick shout out to VS. threads. I love them, really. I'm sure at least a few of the veterans around here wish they'd seen the last of them, but I say keep 'em coming! It's a fun and maybe weird way to shop, but user experiences and assessments inform my buying decisions more than almost anything else. Maybe I'll get tarred and feathered for this, but I don't demo. I hate demoing, I think it takes way too much time, creates bloat in my machine - it's just a huge pain in the ass. I want to know if it's a good product before I invest time installing it, using it, etc...not after. I'd much rather pop in a youtube video for a few minutes and see a shootout or a feature demo and come on to KVR here or some other places and hear people share their experiences.
Anyway, thanks again!
