Are we talking reverse sound libraries, or some type of reverse reverb effect, or something else??

I'm-a-talkin' bout getting my pianos and shit to sound reversed like Output's Rev presets. I wanna get out of the habit of using sample loop presets like that where the synth does all the work. It's kinda lazy. Id prefer to design my own.

Ah!! I have Rev and that's the reverse library I was thinking of

But to my understanding most samplers allow you to select whether a wave goes forward or backwards. At least I'm pretty sure.

Or a bit more out of the box would be to take a wavetable synth like Serum or Codex, load in your own samples and have it scan backwards through it.
