thanks
I didn't change anything about the mouse steps; and the UI framework is the same as the previous version. I've double check on my OS X machine and I don't have this behaviour. Are you on Windows ? What was your previous version release ?

This seems to be related : https://forum.juce.com/t/slider-mousewh ... ment/15041 (since Dexed is using JUCE)

Boddicker's are really crippled, but since I have fixed versions in my folder, I guess I uncrippled them somehow.

But I noticed that as soon as one move the "level" or "eg level" knob the envelope jumps to the highest brake-point.
EG parameters are now dynamically applied to the voice when you change it (in the previous Dexed version it didn't do anything). Since the EG level and rate is dependent on the operator level; the operator EG must be recalculated based on the current op level. To avoid any bad implementation that is not like the DX7; I prefer to reset the op EG to state 3 (last state before we release the note). Again this occurs only when you change any EG parameters.

Version 0.9.3 is now released : http://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/

Strange. Neither .93 (x64) or its beta are being seen by Studio One 3.3.4 on my system (Win 7). No problem with .92. I didn't try the x86 version.

Great update!

I don't know if this is feasible, the whole thing may be proprietary but I wish someone would create an interface in straight emulation of the 32 algorithms of the DX7. THAT IS THE WHOLE IDEA, THOSE ALGORITHMS.

Thanks; please re-download it again (the code didn't change, I've just rebuild it)... I think it needs the msvc runtime and this might be a build issue on my side. I cannot test this since I have only one Windows machine with the runtime already installed.

Dexed IS a emulation of the DX7, included the emulation of the 32 algorithms

Many thanks to the developers of this VSTi!!! I love 80's music and some sounds are unique from the DX7 so I'm glad a free VSTi like Dexed came to the scene...

asb2m10: Can you confirm this is how the init patch is *meant* to sound -

http://www.ilovecubus.co.uk/pete/dexed.mp3

The 6th/last note seems to vary from [stable] version to version - On 0.9.2 and some early builds it'd be a soft sound like the other 5 notes, but in this and I think 0.9.1 the last note is this crunchy-noise-burst sound. And wasn't sure if that was the intentional sound, or if my DAW isn't handling the VST properly ? Does it result from the feedback of the 6th OP ?

p.s. Absolutely love this VST by the way, been using it for ages and just love the incredible FM tones from ALL OF THE 32 EMULATED ALGORITHMS (glares towards jancivil and his capslock-fuelled confusion  )
