RustedMonkey - Where I expected this tune after the cool opening to go sky high, it took a nose-dive production-wise. Dynamics are totally screwed with the compression.

Yagushi - heh for some reason I am enjoying this entry quite a lot. Good production going on

sdunn1110 - What an odd combination. I can imagine the girls screaming and running away. Not superbly keen on this, but I like the original blending going on.

Jens - I can imagine not having your favorite vocalist around had you thinking of not entering. I'm glad you decided to enter anyhow Quite the energetic tune and cool entry from your hands

Yeah, kinda express reviews this month. I can't really believe it was little over two hours.
At first I thought to skip reviewing this month (partly due to the kvr-meet and the puter problems on this end).

But alas the reviewer in me won

AndreasE - You's getting betterer and betterer. The choir/string pads(?) are a tad too loud I feel screwing up a bit the great dynamics.

DuncanParsons - Strange mix, which I felt could have had a better balance, but this month brought your usual smile.

I agree about the mix - time constraints as ever with the compos.. With no compo stuff I will sometimes take months and still get it wrong...!

Glad the smyle was there. Quite a few seemed to like it this month which is nice - but it's the kind of track that doesn't attract votes! (not that I'm in it for the votes, I just like the challenge of trying to get a complete track in just a few days in a particular theme..)

I was just about ready to quit doing odd, weird, and spacey things, but if you and some of the others can stand what I'm doing, I guess I won't pull down my copy of Dance Music Programming Secrets and learn how to be normal.

That isn't distortion! I think you're referring to the point where I stood up, turned around, and sat down on the keyboard. (Can anyone tell me where that quote is from?)

Actually I had a lot of problems with keeping this from distorting, and obviously was running close. But thanks for your kinds words!

I've only downloaded the songs last night so haven't listened to many yet this month... Will have to have a marathon listening session this weekend!

Mystahr... Your right, Remco would sing my song much better... I keep coming up with songs that don't really suite my voice! I've decideed that next month (theme permitting) I will right the vocals and words first and orchestrate the song around them; rather than writing the song and sticking the words in as an afterthought afterwards (as I have been doing)!
