For those of you who buy music products/gear online, which online music retailer do you recommend as far as receiving quality working products (zzsounds, Musician Friend etc)?
I've used Amazon a few times for electronic gear including music products and it's been hit or miss with them so I'm considering going to a retailer that sells just music gear exclusively.

I've always been very satisfied with Sweetwater. (Which is not to say I have any complaints about any other online retailer -- I don't, because I've never had occasion to use them, because I made my first online music-related purchases at Sweetwater and have never had reason or desire to switch.)

Thanks for the replies! I forgot about Sweetwater. I think that may be the way to go.

This. I've ordered a reasonably big pile of stuff from Thomann at this point and they've never disappointed me. And what's extra cool about them is that they ship orders above €200 for free.

Sweetwater has never been competitive on price for me. B&H often is the most competitive without hassle. 8th street music has often been willing to give me a better deal over the phone with some haggling. I often go through Amazon as well. The local GC will give me a good deal with a LOT of haggling.

I've also been pretty happy with JRR and AudioDeluxe when they have what I want. Special shout out to HIA for being a helpful new helpful player on the scene.

Pretty much the only EU option for a lot of stuff. Fortunately, they're damn good at what they do.

Sweetwater is my go-to for just about any new purchases. I've never been disappointed, not to mention free candy. :tu:

Do you guys not find Thomann a bit expensive? I've ordered loads of stuff from them over the years, but I now find them no longer all that competitive on pricing. :( Their service is very good though...

How else do you think they pay for the candy?

At any rate, I like 'em. I wait for sales.
