I forgot to say "for Windows" as there is a 64 bit Mac version of Ambience.

Yes I wouldn't mind if all his plugins were updated but I think Ambience is the only 32 bit plugin I would pay for (again) to get a 64 bit version. :)

Magnus' stuff is Magnus' copyright... There is nothing I or Dozius can do about that... :-|

I'll shoot him a message.

Oh for a 64bit build of dfx Buffer Override. Looks like there's source code for it and some 64bit commits but alas no binary: https://sourceforge.net/p/destroyfx/cod ... roverride/

Thanks ! I wouldn't ask anyone to violate copyright but someone did do a 64 bit version of Ambience for Mac. I'd be eternally grateful if someone did the same for Windows.

Ambience still sounds great but I don't want to use a bit bridge. :)

I had considered gathering all those sources up and doing something with them in the past but there was a post from Sophia a little over a year ago that said updates were in the works. I decided to just wait instead.

I think there was a thread in the dev forum where someone had built one of the dfx plugins as x64. I forget which one it was. Maybe worth a search.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Dozius wrote:Friendly bump to let everyone know a lot of work has been done on this since last May. Binaries are compiled automatically from the latest source and made available for download. Almost all of the plugins, including the previously unreleased Bitmurderer, are available now for win/mac x86/x64 as VST.

OS X? I had the same issue, Live didn't show them in the plugin list.

Sweet Jesus. I love some crazy Ivan. Gonna go have a look at that code and any compiled versions that might be floating around.

Thanks Bram. You and the rest of the smartelectronix folks have made my music making career more fun since I first came across your site.

Gosh I hope that's the case, that'd be amazing!

Regarding these plugins I believe CrazyIvan was the very first VST I ever used - Was blown away by the wild noise I could get from. Had no idea what I was doing - just wildly slid the sliders around until everything turned into chaos :)

Has anyone done a 64 bit version of Crazy Ivan? Really hope so! Nothing else like it.
