But ... which plug-ins are included? I could not see that on the web site. (I did see that there are 30 commercial plug-ins currently available, with a price over $2,100.)
All software titles are included in fact.

That's great news, thank you. So the "more than 25 products worth more than $1000" should really read "30 products worth more than $2,100" ..... :) .....

My own small contribution (a GUI skin colour scheme) is attached.

Well, if I had to be exact then yes, but I simply did not include applications (e.g. Deconvolver) into the equation, but they are also in the offer. I've corrected to $1500 to be more exact.

To be fair I don't mind to pay the this awesome offer and then pay a "minimal fixed" charge for all the future new plugins.

Is there a unified download for all products included in the membership?

This is not planned at the moment as we offer individual purchases as well. Frankly saying, maintaining a whole package of plugins is not currently possible for us. With this membership, licenses are given "on demand" basis, so you may install a couple of plugins today and another couple of plugins a week later. It's probably a hassle on new computer installs, but should not be much of a problem with everyday use.

Ok. I understand your viewpoint, however I will not purchase the Premium Membership if I need to download, install up to 25 products one-by-one and keep track of what has been done the whole time.

Even if it is a one-time thing, it's still incredibly annoying to do and have to keep track of what you're doing in the process. If you wish to call it a "Premium Membership" then I think it's reasonable to expect a "Premium" experience for the basic scenario of installing the products that you purchased.

edit: If you need to request a license per-plugin that's even worse.

I had the Premium Membership in my cart, ready to check out, and there's no way I'm purchasing it with the system that you describe.

This is one of the reasons I personally made a decision to more or less use only Waves plugins. It's a dream to have everything install in one click. It used to give me a headache just thinking about plugin updates for tens and tens of different companies with pain in the ass installations and licensing types (Cakewalk, Nomad anyone?!). If I was to use some kind of package or subscription like this the convenience factor is a pretty important part of it. Plugin Alliance have an installation manager now too which is a great move imo.

While I don't use "just Waves", I also consider this kind of convenience as having value. That said, it wouldn't stop me from purchasing a fairly priced bundle.

Hes giving you 1500 dollars worth of stuff for 260.

I will add an "installation manager" to our development plans. The reason such manager software wasn't available is that we were single product-centric the whole time. There was no demand for such software from us before.

I'm just talking about what makes me personally look at this kind of thing. It's part of the appeal of other similar schemes. It's just one factor though.

I understand that, its just that sometimes it looks as though there is no making you happy no matter how generous something is.

(Not you personally, KVR in general.)

I've seen too many "membership for life" deals here on KvR to know that they all end up either with the company disappearing shortly after or that new products won't be included. Thanks for clearing that out. :tu:

Great deal.
