Instabuy in my book, loved the old PiWarp back in the day as I do every frequency shifter :)

Edit; Lol I didn't see that bundle offer... Screw it it's bought and done...
EditEdit; Wow Wormhole is amazing, great work as always from Zynaptiq! :tu:

Instabuy for me as well. I've been waiting for this for more than a year.

Sadly for me, the trail of the VST3 version keeps crashing cubase 9.0.10 . The most I ever got out of it was about 8 minutes I think, the least less than 1. Will return to evaluating this if they release a stability fix.

I know I should demo it but I'll ask anyway... Is it possible that the Soundtoys plugins in the rack plus a great reverb could achieve something similar? For example using Crystalizer/FilterFreak etc.

No, GRM Tools are a good alternative.

I think you can achieve something similar with MeldaProduction MXXX. I tested following chain of effects.

Transformer -> Frequency Shifter -> Reverb (Pre) -> Morph -> Reverb (Post)

and then you sidechain Morph with parallel unprocessed signal to replicate what they call FX Blend in Wormhole. The obvious advantage is that you can thrown whatever you want into the processing chain that is available in MXXX.

Easy to see you haven’t tried it cause you wouldn’t be asking this :hihi:

I seriously doubt there's anything similar to Wormhole so far, it's definitely a unique alien pulverizing plugin alone in its own category for now. Unless you sidechain and use 5 or 6 other plugins all together and even then, I doubt you would be able to achieve similar results.

The good thing is it’s very unique and original, the bad thing is its aural signature will easily be spotable and recognizable like a very strong spice. Not sure if that is good tho... So far I really like Wormhole (demo try) and what it does, it's insane. But its sound signature is very perceptible and maybe too strong. Still need to demo...

When wormhole was announced, there was mention of an upgrade discount for those who own PiWarp. Couldn't find any reference to that on Zynaptiq's page. Though I will ultimately get this anyway, {sooner the better} has anyone else found that discount?
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Impressive plugin, but so expensive :o

I'd like to run some EDM leads through it. Could be an interetsing way to make fadeins / fadeouts or just dramatic FX.

2 questions.

1. how is their support?

2. is this product somewhere cheaper available?

Support has been great for me. I sent Denis at Zynaptic a message yesterday afternoon - he replied within minutes. I'm West coast US - I assume he's Europe. Can't answer regarding price, though Don't Crack (reseller) has extra $ off for Zynaptic, if you login to their forum and check the special pricing. Other's may be more competitive -- don't know...

None of them seem to be offering the bundle crossgrades though
