#1 thing I hate the most is when I can't find my string winder , also string cutting plyers.... 1st time on this next one ... I order or get the wrong F'n strings ex. let say 80/20 instead of Phosphor Bronze I did this earlier this month ( case of the dumbasses ) how the heck did I do that ??? 1st time ever on that one ... last but not least I also absolutely hate having a sinus infection for going on 3 weeks now and the guitar tones dont sound right to me ...My ears are clogged up. Can't talk can't sing can't listen ...Sucks ... Oh well I am about 80% better now ... I also have a bunch of capos ... Kyser , 7th gen , shubb .. I forget where I out those Mofos too ...

Not too far off...I have now found them and for some reason I put them in the bag with 400 fags someone from work brought me back from Spain. The important stuff

When I cleaned up and rearranged my studio I found two slides and something like 28 picks. I haven't even played anything that has strings for the last two years, and I didn't know I ever bought that many picks.

It makes me wonder how many others are kicking around somewhere... down the AC vents, in a dog's stomach, underneath the 800 pound aquarium, etc.

I have a Kyser capo. Never lost once. Always sitting on the headstock unless in use. I have another one (a different type). Always in the same pocket of the same guitar case. I'd recommend having a Kyser (or Kyser style) or have a spot where it only lease if being used.

When you look for something, it's important to make a note of the first place your brain tells you to look. This place is where you should leave the thing once you've found it and have finished using it. If your brain behaves consistently (and I can't imagine inconsistent behaviour from the brains of any of you guys), you will find it the first place you look next time. The problem is you will end up putting everything under the ashtray.

As for picking brains.

Tuned my e (1st) string until it broke and suddenly realized it was the g (3rd) string.
