I couldn't quite tell from the resolution of the screengrab but from the favicon it looked like you were on the iLok page to link accounts rather than the Gobbler one...

As said, entering the license code I got with the purchase, to Softube registration site, ALWAYS leads me to that "Gobbler site", no way to avoid it.

As said, I enter my iLok password only either to the PACE site to my iLok account, or to my iLok License Manager. That ("Gobbler") site was neither, and I have not received any information from the PACE where they have authorized Gobbler.
Once I get one, that's an other thing.

...Are you sure ? The top image you posted definitely looks like Pace's iLok site, it even has the Pace copyright info on the footer

The iLok site account sign-in site looks like this:

https://www.ilok.com/

If the idea in the Softube registration was to let the user sign in the iLok site/account, it had been very easy to create such a path.
The path from the iLok main site, with the iLok design.
Why not use that most obvious way in such a intimate matter than signing in to your valuable (several 1000 $ in many cases) account?
The only logical explanation is that the iLok/PACE does not want it. And the next question is "why not", is the reason that official registration, sign-in included legal obligations which the iLok does not want to take because the potential data privacy treath by the Gobbler involvement?

As you've got the full res pictures - what's the start of URL of the top screenshot: www.what.com ?

Pace has stated this is okay. It allows Gobbler to link to the iLok account. You are not putting your password into Gobbler, but into Pace which gives Pace permission to share information about your Gobbler plugins. Though I am not sure why Gobbler/Softube cannot just link with only the user name. My thought is that because Gobbler is a third-party and not the plugin manufacturer, they don't have the normal ability to deposit licenses into the iLok account. Actually, it is more likely that because Softube rents their plugs, Gobbler needs the access to limit the usage to the time frame paid for.

That said, I'm not a fan of using Gobbler. It does not look like there is any way to install the plugins without using the internet. I try not to use the internet on my music computer. It is not worth taking the chance to mess it up.

So I guess if your music computer it not on the internet, you can't use Softube plugins? I think if I didn't get them free with my Focusrite account, I probably wouldn't bother.
