Wow...There's a great new choir in town: Oceania:

Very Good: The sound. In your face, realistic (so realistic in fact, you can't believe you're not hearing actual words. I've listened very closely, and it's difficult to tell it uses only 10 syllables (but in an extremely detailed/focused way).

Very easy to use. Ridiculously easy to use.

Good: Decent intro pricing ($199). Small footprint (2.1 gb total on the hard drive...from the video, it looks like 1gb in RAM covers both Men and Women).

Less Good: It's not a lush wash of vocals. You'll probably need another patch (or library) for that.

The Bad and the Ugly: Not a single durned thing (that I can see).

This is one of the most playable choirs, if not THE most playable I have come across. Instant gratification out of the box. This will suite most of your epic needs for sure, but it is also capable of a variety of settings.

There is some incredible scripting going on to get you from short staccato notes to longs with no keyswitching, and syllables that just seem to work whenever and however you play them.

Don't expect dedicated vowel and mmmm patches, there are plenty of libraries for that. Don't expect word builder patches either. It does that on its own. DO expect inspiration and good sound. Split male/female sections also add to some of the flexibility.

It is kind of niche, but that seems to be the trend in current sample libraries...single product for a single purpose that just works well.

And this just works well.
