Soundiron's appropriately named "Insane Bundle Deal" has got a lot to be excited about. The 5 library collection contains the Venus Symphonic Women's Choir which in our opinion is worth the cost of entry. Collection also contains the Voice of Gaia: Bryn, Cymbology, Drinking Piano & Steel Tones weighing in at a total of 46.68 GB.
This entire library collection is now available for $99.99 (normally $715).

how does phrase sampling work? It looks to me like there are actual sung phrases and you can access the parts of the phrase in any order using midi - a slice and dice thing - with controls to help make that sound natural.
Is that right?

You could get the deal and perhaps sell your original copy of Cymbology later (if SI allows it).

There's more than one thing going on. Download the manual. http://s3.amazonaws.com/soundiron_docs/ ... _guide.pdfwoggle wrote:how does phrase sampling work? There's '2-way', '3-way' True Legato (& they'll sustain). There's a control to give you more 'ah', 'oh', or 'ooh' as you go. For instance. 3-ways have a 2-way control as well.
The 'soloists' are long loops, whole sentences in Latin & Slavonic and there's no cutting that up. Swell, Attack, Offset. Time Machine (Speed Control) in the 'Kontakt 5' patches.

Seems like a very good deal. Especially interested in the choir.
But since i have not enough space and problem to download such sizes it could be a while to download/use it.
Anyone knows if i just can buy it and download it just a month later or so?
Edit: Ah, forget it! I saw you need the full Kontakt for it. I just use the Player. So i´m out

Yes you can, you can even download multiple times as your download code remains active if you ever need to download again.Cinebient wrote:Seems like a very good deal. Especially interested in the choir.

I think SI provides their samples in wav format (you can check to be sure) so you can use the wav files in daw as-is. Also, you might want to get full Kontakt later and then wish you'd bought the deal.Cinebient wrote:Seems like a very good deal. Especially interested in the choir.

Yes, thank´s! I´m already qualified for the crossgrade due to some of my libraries. And i ordered it once the boxed version for 50% off for just €125. Then something got wrong with delivery and i cancelled it.
Now that i see what i all miss it was a bad decision
Not interested in the stock samples and space they eat up.

I've wanted some vocal/choir/chant stuff for a while, and Venus was always out of my budget. Don't make trailer or ambient music, but this bundle looks like a lot of fun regardless. Glad to get my peasant hands on something of this calibre
