for me anyway... thought i`d share it with you. My chance of giving something back since i get so much help from you guys :) I`ve been hunted by this problem for 2 years, that means since i started using logic

excuse me if you know this already..

(for XP/PC)
While logic's running, press ctrl alt del to bring up the task manager, go to process and right click on logic, choose priority and set it to a higher value....( Not real time!!, i have it on high. Real time makes nasty results be carefull!!!!!!) and everything will run smoothly and perfectly. Remember that you've got to do it everytime you start logic. I dont know how to set it permanently...

This made A LOT of difference for me now i can`t even provoke an asio overload message

Post

1) Open Notepad
2) enter this:
start /high /D"C:\Program Files\Logic\" logic.exe
3) save it on your desktop with the name logic.bat
4) Double click it to start logic in high priority mode!

(you may have to change this for to point to the directory and filename for logic.exe really lives in on your machine - but I'm sure you get the principle.)

The best fix I found for the ASIO overloads was to crossgrade to Cubase SX. :hihi: No damn ASIO overloads since. ;) But that piece of info would have been nice way back when I was using it all the time...
