Hi All
I have a Fender Mustang III amplifier, that has the USB recording capability.
I have been having problems setting up MuLab to do USB recording, that is on my Mac computer.
if I select Built-In Input or Mustang Amplifier, I get an error message, "Couldn't start Audio Engine".
If I select Built-In output no error, but no inputs are "visible" for recording, through a mic or the amplifier.
I was able to configure Mustang USB recording with MuLab on my Windows 10 computer, through ASIO, which allows me to configure inputs and outputs separately, but no such options on Mac
Any suggestions?
Cheers

You need to setup a composite interface in audio/midi setup. It will use the mustang as input and your built in audio as output. Choose that composite interface and it should work. Note, I haven't tried this, even though technically I have all the bits and could, this is just based on my experience with each of the pieces.

Yes, the composite interface is called an Aggregate Device in Mac. To create one, click the + in the lower left corner of the audio midi setup. Also, MuLab requires at least a stereo output (built-in output is OK), if not you will get that "couldn't start audio engine" message.
