Hmm... your ISP may be having trouble reaching the server that is hosting the video.

Here is a quick screenshot I just snapped:

Oh, interesting, thanks for the info! I just took a look. It is listed as "allowed to embed, but don't display publicly". I will make it public a few days after the 3.0 launch. I don't know if Youtube will list it as a new video when I do a change, and I don't want to confuse anybody during the release week^^.

Couldn´t hold on... bought MelodicFlow as well... I like your idea with an all controlling Chord track... makes composing/experimenting far easier

Especially for this, there is one question for me if I work with both (Sundog and MelodicFlow):

Is there any way in Sundog to let special channels (like for Bass, Arps, Leads ... everything which should follow the "chord track") output the midi data in "MelodicFlow format" ???

I hope this is understandable... :-)

MelodicFlow in the upper range works the same like Sundog internal (root, root+1, root+2 etc.) but the output of Sundog are "real" midi notes to trigger instruments directly...
I want to have the "pure" Sundog data to trigger MelodiFlow, that I don´t have to convert manually all the note data to MelodicFlow format for the instruments I want to follow the Chord track ... :D

The next I stumble with a bit:
If I use Chord mods (which I do a lot), the naming in the chord progression is chaotic ... a modded Fminor gets the same -6 as a name like the modded D#maj ... and since there is no indicator if you press on the "name" in the chord progression I never knew, which chord I had if I accidentally clicked on a different chord while have one of them highlighted...

At the moment it's not possible to output the MIDI data in MelodicFlow format. But it's an interesting idea ;). I will put that on the wish list.

Regarding the chords: Hmmm... Sundog doesn't store the chord names or "original chord buttons" anywhere. I get your point here, but I will probably keep it that way. Maybe it's a good idea to lock the chord progression (shortcut: "l") while you test different chords.

All the best,
Hauke

Just noticed, the problem is something else...

If you use the normal chords, i.e. with Chord mods on and you have chosen the middle one for slot 1, clicking on a different slot and back again, the chord loaded into slot 1 gets a darker color...

This doesn´t work for left and right chord mod... therefore there is a problem to know what chord is loaded in...
If you could consider some kind of highlighting for left and right mods as well, the problem would be solved :-)

While its nothing too complicated, wrote this with the help of Sundog 3.0: https://soundcloud.com/voice303/lydian-sundrive

It makes creating step sequence style melodies and rhythms easy even in non standard scales. Very useful for a mouse musician such as myself :)
