As it stands, it appears to require a wav, with 33 (single) cycles of 2048 each, with a low pass filtering out (anti-aliasing) half the sampling rate. If you want to use "wave control" you simply 'stitch' two or more of these "33-cycle wavs" together.
I could be wrong, but that is how I read it. I don't have the demo yet, so I haven't analyzed an example.
I like what I have seen and heard of this synth, and love SB's stuff in general (including Cyclops), but would also desire to make/load my own wavetables, and very much see that difficulty, as an hopefully remediable oversight. [2c]
I don't want to say more because I don't want to be accused of ragging on the company. I'm trying to keep this civil and professional.

Except they essentially told me the process for creating wavetables is complex and wouldn't share it with me. Their suggestion at the end of the email was to maybe get somebody to create a wavetable editor for the synth.ethermusic1981 wrote:Which you should. Personally, I was a little offended at the reply I got, which was bordering on rude and insulting, but I decided to just let it go because in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't worth it. Even without the ability to create your own WTs it's still a great synth and I'm glad I got it. WT creation would have been the icing on the cake, that's all.

Personally, I like Factory. It's a typical Sugar Bytes synth that can do some really weird things with just a few dial turns. You're either into their stuff or not.

I love Factory, it is inspiring. But for my autistic peace of mind, I need to SEE and ENTER numbers. And please I want to be able to enter "445" and "1/16" etc... If not I will mention... *cough* Serum... 
Also, as for perfect visualization, Serum raised te bar so much.

I've been waiting for this for a very long time ! This synth has something no other one has. If you've never tried it, trust me, you should.
This is not just another synth, this one has something different. I'm not saying it's a beast, I'm not saying it's the only synth you'll ever need : no, I'm only saying it's has its own sound, something spicy, something crispy.

I'm quite tempted despite having more synths than I could ever make proper use of.
Such a beautiful GUI. One of the best I have ever seen (seems to nod towards what Native Instruments do these days).
I would buy it in an instant if it was released on IOS and with its low CPU requirements I hope it will be.
One thing that makes me slightly hesitant is that you pretty much buy the functionality as seen with Sugar Bytes. They don't tend to add new features once a product is released (or not with the products that I own anyway).
Still on the fence.

Also tempted, also hesitant. Already own 5 SB plugs, but still somewhat disappointed by their lack of communication regarding updates, changelogs, etc.
