traditionally Guitar Center is the cheapest US retailer for these mics. They buy in such bulk, that they sell them below what other music stores pay for wholesale.
I worked at a small music instrument store in high school and this really upset the owner - that we could get them cheaper from Guitar Center than we could from Shure themselves.

Hmm, you can buy one of mine if you want, it's one of em I've hardly ever used (not the fag smoke ruined one 
) , just did a couple of band recordings with it, still boxed with the pouch. I'll sell it for £35 inc p&p (that seems to be about the going rate - about half retail pricec from turnkey I think.).Send me a PM if you're interested.
