Hello,
I've been having this problem for a couple of years now, which occasionally occurs when I render a track in wave. At a certain point (for about 10 seconds) the volume fluctuates there.
I am sure that it has nothing to do with a too high volume level. Because it is not clipping.
It was also not extremely pressed towards 0 db.
The strange is, if I convert this wave in 320 mp3, the problem is no longer present.

What is "wave"--Wave Tracks Live? (That's the only thing I found that was close in a quick Google search.)

Does this happen with all types of material? For example, solo piano and EDM tracks? Or is it just certain types of material?

Are you using any internal compressors in "wave"?

@planetearth

I meant WAV.

It is trance music. Mostly in the part in which no kick is heard, this fluctuations comes. Yes I use Ozone to maximize. But I hear neither in the project, nor in the mp3 these fluctuations.

Can it have something to do with my on-board sound card ?.

Once I also noticed that these variations from player to player are different to not exist. (VLC, MPC, Windows Media Player ..)

Well, you certainly don't want to use an on-board sound card, if you can avoid it. There's no telling what the drivers or mix/level settings are doing. Some try to get "fancy" and offer extra processing you don't need and may not even know is in place.

What happens when other people play the .WAV file? And how does the .WAV file sound in VLC?

Finally, if you bypass Ozone and just use slight compression (from your DAW's built-in compressor or a reputable free compressor), how do the .WAV files sound?
