I'll spin the demo tonight.

It's £249 minus £70 (£199 intro price, £20 extra discount) - so that's £179. The standard is more of the impulse buy price at £49 (inc discount), despite the advanced tech as I want to make that as accessible as possible. The pro is a really advanced and great sounding reverb thanks to Fusion-IR but with a much more algorithmic experience. YMMV, but I believe it competes at the very top end hence the pricing. There is less blanking out than typical convolution (but not totally gone between some length changes). Though M7 users will note that some parameter modifications even on hardware cause the reverb to blank and refill so I don't feel any shame in that.

Damn this is amazing. The price is normal for the market it's aimed at but unfortunately means I can't afford it as a hobbyist. It would be a no-brainer if I had a pro studio. I'll have to wait a few years until it's available on sale.

Hopefully the improved Fusion IR technology is added to Reverberate's engine too? Those great improvements to sampling could do well there. We obviously won't get the Seventh Heaven IRs themselves, but I just hope the tech improvements get backported to Reverberate so that the Fusion convolution engine is equally powerful.

Reverberate 2 is my favorite reverb. As long as it still gets full technology love, I don't mind selling specific Fusion IR products separately.

This was the rationale for providing a more limited version for that side of the market. I know a lot of that market dislikes iLok so I have an uphill battle there, but I can't risk compromising the protection of the pro by reducing the security of a shared codebase so I will take the hit.

Potentially in some areas, but the challenge here is applying techniques that apply to only one reverb in a general purpose way for a general purpose tool like Reverberate in a way that makes sense rather than confusing an already complex tool. For example, not many reverbs have 3 components (low, early, late). Not many reverbs have the same method of applying filtering to different components. Very few handle their early reflections the same way. So that's the logic for going all-in on the customisation with this specific plugin for widely considered the best hardware reverb around to really show what Fusion-IR is capable of doing with laser focus. Reverberate 2 stays as the premier tweaker focused general purpose convolution reverb with its own roadmap rather than being sidelined by this of course.

A pretty fair upgrade offer. I upgraded from R1 to R2 this year and it's taken over as my favourite clean reverb. I hope it sells well for you, Matt.

During the intro period Reverberate 2 users get £70 off in total (£179 total price down from £249), after the intro period Reverberate 2 users get £50 off (£199 down from £249). Intro period ends 14 May.

This says that after May 14 Rev 2 users will still get £50 off.
