I recently had some show-stopping problems attempting to get an Echo Indigo I/O to work with my HP nx7010, problems which were traced back to the ENE cb1410 Cardbus Controller. I am pleased to announce that Echo Audio has developed an elegant solution, they have devised a "filter driver" for the ENE cb1410 that makes it work, at least on my system, with the Indigo cards.
I can now attain 128 samples 3ms in / 3ms out with full duplex stereo recording and pristine audio output!!! Yay!

I have yet to hear back from ECHO but I had heard of this mythic "filter driver" (on this forum no less) but I couldn't get my hands on it. Now I can get actual sounds fom my computer.
I'm using an HP zd7260us with the indigo>io with the Prefetch enable setting turned off and the TLT enable setting turned on. TLT enable doesn't seem to make a difference but audio will NOT work if Prefetch is enabled.

Edit: One strange side effect though; It takes about twice as long to boot up and a really, really long time to shutdown now. It would be a bigger deal for me if I used my laptop as a mobile device and needed to be able to shutdown and go but it's just a desktop replacement for me. YMMV.
