What's the problem with the payment system? Can you get into your paypal account after clicking on the paypal button?
I tried to pay with Paypal (with credit cards in my account and directly with my bank account) and directly with credit card payment. No transaction is complete, even though my credit card company confirmed me that no transaction were blocked by them. So it's a problem with the system of their payment provider (share-it). I had no problem buying Avenger in the holiday, but they don't know what is wrong in their system to let me pay. I have no credit card problem and have money in my bank account, so there is no reason why I can't pay with Paypal or directly with a credit card.

I won't say it's a general problem for the other users, it could be just me, but I can't buy the expansion right now. I contacted support, but neither Vengeance sound or share-it were able to identify the problem.

Let's hope that not too much customers have this problem, or they will lose money and business.

If someone here also buying for him self maybe he could buy for you and you will pay him .

No, the license is generated to the name of the buyer.

I could simply sent them money directly to their email through Paypal so they could then manually generate my license, but they won't do it.

It seems you can't drag-drop multiple samples from a DAW's media browser onto a Avenger Osc slot at once.
At least, i can't do this on mac.
Would like to see this feature

Hi guys

Is anyone having Vengeance Avenger problems in Cubase 9 ?

I'm using Cubase 9 Elements, every time I load the synth up in a new or old project I get a white screen in Cubase and Cubase locks up OR crashes, there are two instances of Avenger visible in the add instruments section one is Avenger the other is Avenger x64

X64 I get white screen and the other I get a black empty box

Comp spec is AMD 8 core 16GB ram Win7 ultimate 64bit

I thought that the expansions are not bounded to the serial?! Somebody told me in another forum, but it could be wrong. I don't know.

Edit:
I just checked something: After choosing the psy expansion and applying the 20% voucher, I come to the paypal site. A click further it takes me to the confirmation page by share.it (Vengeance). There I can see my billing adress and my delivery adress (both already filled with my data from the purchase of Avenger).
Below the delivery adress there is written that the product will be licensed to my name!
But you can change the delivery adress and the E-Mail adress where the download link is to be send to.
So, if someone fills in your adress data and your E-Mail adress it should be licensed to your name and send to your E-Mail adress.
You only have to find someone you can trust, because of giving him your data (a friend)
I hope this helps a bit.

Sort of. I mostly use Avenger in Live, and use Cubase for recording vocals and mixing finished tracks. But often when I load Avenger into Cubase Pro 9 I get that issue where hitting a note just produces a very short clicky sound, but that's easily fixed by just initializing. I also had a crash when trying to duplicate Avenger in Cubase but, again, I don't use the two together often so it might be an anomaly.

So my music production currently is 100% German based: Bitwig + Avenger =
I keep wondering what it is with us Germans. We don't dance, we don't party... we just make all ze music software.

Regarding CPU usage, I have something really strange:

Inside my DAW (Bitwig, Win10), Avenger actually behaves - I can use it, many patches show only up to 15% CPU usage. No problem, not stuttering.

But my Windows CPU-meter tells another story - 30% as soon as I start Avenger in Bitwig, even without making any noise, as soon as I open the GUI. I have a laptop with a dedicated graphics card (FirePro), and with three instances of Avenger running, my CPU (!) goes up to 60% and shows 4 cores running at 80%.

This all seems to come from the GUI only, not the DSP, which stays under 20% even with three instances of a chord arp sound that should require some CPU workout.

Anybody elese having this?

Maybe Avenger is spiky in CPU usage and lacks of optimisation... Some meters only show an average over some milliseconds.

lacks of optimisation? I dont agree. Maybe for mac users. Same amount off osc running on serum vs avenger avenger is way better on cpu handling. Remember these 2 synths has tremendous quality with extremely low ailising issues compaired to most other vsti synths. Sylenth1 is extremly low on cpu but the quality of the osc is all other then good, effects is horrible, but you can make good sounds on sylenth1 i still think it sounds good even if its a bad quality synth. perfect quality doesnt mean better preceived sound anyway

Post

But if cpu meters show such different results, at least it could be an indication for spiky CPU load, which should be avoided in a realtime VST plugin...

Also I am talking about Avenger's usage per single OSC: It almost can be 1% of a decent CPU. Then with 20 OSCs / 10 voices you already have 20% cpu load. So I would assume, for some reason, it is no optimised very much - obviously.
