Sounds awsome ! Congrats ! And cool to see it on ilok, as it is the most hassle-free protection scheme !
But please, take your time for 224 heaven, 480 heaven, RMX16 heaven, etc.. :)

Couldn't agree more.
About two weeks ago now I had to set up a new computer.
During that setup I spent about 5 hours re-authorising numerous plugins.
All my iLok licenced plugins worked immediately with no such hassle.
Wish it was that easy for all of my plugins.

My favorite reverb company I don't use nothing but Reverberate 2 but it very sad to see the price going astronomical for Reverberate owners to upgrade. Seriously, it is amazingly expensive. I could have paid 150 USD without Demo. That is how much I'm satisfied with Reverberate 2. See you on sale Seventh Heaven.

Amazing sound, unique and ground breaking technology, and a fair price given the R&D that
has to go into such a thing (and price of competing products eg recent EA offerings) IMO.

I think this is a milestone plugin.

Can we use R2 discount code on that upgrade?

I don't have any LiquidSonics plugin yet.
I have some convolution based plugins: SIR2, mixIR2, and I plan to buy Altiverb in a year.

I'd like to buy 7HP. But is there any sense to buy Reverberate 2 as well for its Fusion IR capabilities?

It seems that the only fusion responses are Bricasti M7 and a couple of no name "from a wide range of other digital hardware reverbs". The situation looks more defined with VerbSuite where I know what hardware was exactly fusion-sampled, but VerbSuite itself looks much less tweakable and also twice as expensive, so I'll pass.

Basically buying Reverberate 2 for its M7 IRs seems completely pointless having 7HP. For ordinary IR I will have Altiverb sooner or later (+ SIR2). But if there are plans to release many more FIRs from other hardware like in the case of VerbSuite that would be something worth considering (are there?).

Is my thinking correct?

Both use Fusion-IRs but those in 7HP are the only IRs you can use with 7HP where-as Rev2 is a general purpose true stereo convo reverb.
Thank you. I understand that 7HP is better, I don't have doubts about that. But my question was more about a reason to buy Reverberate 2 after already having 7HP. It looks that it's pointless, but I may be wrong.

The only reason I could think of is that Rev2 is what you called "general purpose", but since FIR impulses are proprietary to LiquidSonic and they provide almost only M7 FIRs, its not enough to justify a purchase.

For me, the main reason to own Reverberate is that it is a very flexible way to work with impulse response based reverb. I am hoping that eventually the tool to create your own Fusion IRs will become available. In the meantime, I don't have anything else that's quite as flexible for working with even standard IRs.

Granted, I picked it up on sale and I'd wait for another sale before I bought it for that reason if I already had 7HP.

So do you think it will give me more than SIR2 and Altiverb in terms of flexibility? That's something.

Rev2 license gives additional £20 discount on 7HP, so I'm kind of thinking aloud about that option.
