Sure UI size issues are challenging but I don't really understand why you have not at least started out by making it the same size as Adaptiverb which is fine, and it would have also created better interface consistency between the plugins.zynaptiq wrote:Thanks for the feedback on UI size. UI size is an ongoing topic – some people (me included) are using 34 inch displays at high resolutions and love big UIs. Some people are running a 13" non-retina MPB and understandably want small interfaces so they can still see their arrangement. We can currently not resize the UI after the plugin has been loaded, but we are aware that a switch to toggle between two sizes would be cool.

At first, from last year's demo vids, I thought it would be too specific for me. But no, Wormhole is up there with Adaptiverb. Both amazingly creative processors. Together with Morph 2, all three are included in their temporary Design bundle. Best bundle to enter the heavenly realm of Zynaptiq.

Personally I prefer the UI size of Wormhole to the larger one used for Adaptiverb, at least on my laptop. Sure, on a desktop screen that would be different. So, for laptop use, I would definitely not want Wormhole to be as large as Adaptiverb, but the other way around. Moreover, due to its size, the Wormhole UI looks and feels snappier.aMUSEd wrote:Sure UI size issues are challenging but I don't really understand why you have not at least started out by making it the same size as Adaptiverb which is fine, and it would have also created better interface consistency between the plugins.zynaptiq wrote:Thanks for the feedback on UI size. But I agree a toggle between both sizes would be cool for Wormhole as well as Adaptiverb.

Really nice effects which I can see for creating beeaaaauuuutiful pads and drones... Have watched some longer YT video with someone fiddling with Adaptiverb. My thoughts were like "OMG". But the pricetag
Hey go they other road, sell it for less $$$, but to anybody on earth then... and me

Yeah. Create a Maserati and sell it for the price of a cheap intro-level car so everyone can afford it.

Just remember to have a recent machine with lots of power to use this on.

I'm thinking of getting the design bundle - anyone know if you can get it cheaper than the JRR shop? Seems Don't Crack don't have the bundle.

I'm still sitting on the fence about Wormhole, as nice as it sounds.
One thing that is putting me off at the moment is the latency.
Are there any plans to add a "Live mode" button like there is in Adaptiverb?

Great idea. Given the complexity of the engine I wonder if it's even possible?!?4ndy wrote:I'm still sitting on the fence about Wormhole, as nice as it sounds.

I asked the question of Denis. I'm sure he won't mind me posting his reply here, save me trying to paraphrase and get it all wrong:-simon.a.billington wrote:

Yes, we're investigating a "Live" mode – however it's conceptually more tricky than with ADAPTIVERB as the dry path is not entirely separate from the wet – it's used in the DELAY and morphing. But yes, we're looking at that. No ETA yet though.
Oh, and I'm no longer on the fence...
