I find stuff like omnisphere and avenger et al to be of no intetest....they have no 'soul'

All Rhodes emulations. I hate electric piano!!! Moog and all 70' synths, all the cheesy 80's synths. For me synths started to become interesting this century.

What do you mean by 'soul'? I personally think that the developers' passion shines through very clearly in Omnisphere, especially when I'm going through all the weird and unusual soundsources.

Do you mean just workhorse synths in general?

There were not many 70's synths to begin with, but the 80's produced very good ones.
I love the Rhodes, it is my sound/instrument of choice.

oh yes. the best music is made with modern, digital, cold, synths that all sound the same. F that.

There is a trick: take all the synths you want... and put them into hands!

This guy has the incredible talent to make the most boring instrument ever... with ANY plugin, even taken among the most beautiful ones ever!!!

Really this guy has a totally unique talent for that purpose!!!

He shows in the most convincing way how much any synth can be underestimated, overestimated, and even "overboring" depending the musician!

The most uninteresting synths...
