Vivid Kontakt Suite: WE HAVE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED~!

For me, I like an Instrument that's complete in itself. I don't want to be f*cking around updating things on a regular basis. If there are add-ons great. I can purchase those if I like them. Most people (I assume) purchase an Instrument to use it as is. Sometimes we might like to utilise sounds from sample packs we've purchased licenses for but of course, it would not be legal to share those.
There are great sound designers at kvr and perhaps some of them would be up for the challenge. At least what they would bring to the table would be quality.

I'd say maybe start a dedicated poll/thread after release that solicits feedback/advice on some of your ideas/questions once you've thought them through some more.
You also might post your ideas at the NI Kontakt third-party libraries forum to see what they say/suggest.

Checking in to see how progress is going..Norbz wrote:Ok we're almost there!
I am going to need all the winners to PM me with their email address they want their copy sent to (need to create an account/download link section for each of you vs a naked link out there..).
Make it a great day

Thanks for the feedback above guys.
Inching closer (that last 10% is always the hardest).
Just swapping out some sounds that I ended up not liking by the end of it as I re-audition everything, adding a few more controls to the UI (autopan, better pagination for banks, etc), and finishing up all the MIDI files (I think you guys are goin to love how easy all this is to use to PRODUCE MEGA FAST for those still kinda new to programming drum patterns are getting a starting riff/chord to build onto..).
Also - I know this might open a can of worms re peoples opinions vs fact vs end user experience - but we're batch processing everything through a few final filters/steps and creating the final set of sounds at 32 bit (hopefully futureproofing) to allow the most dynamic range/destructive editing possible so the signal to noise ratio is great on big mixes or when pushing the samples past their ideal ranges per kit. I know most converters are only 24bit and this may be pointless for now however as time goes on I think users will appreciate this.
We have 12 separate nki files for different modules and multi's of some of them. Decided not to make single patch versions after more code optimization, and if I need to update this it's only 12 files vs 450+ nki files like this was at first...
Final folder looks like it's going to be about 5gigs so far (2.7gigs zipped), 4,500'ish sounds, rather modest for a package this size I'm happy it didn't go up to 10+.
We are indeed almost there however this last stretch is the most important for me before we finish up the website updates/pages and officially close the coding/production sessions so hang tight I'm hoping we're there within the next 2 months. Just kidding, maybe a week or two tops.

Here's another stress test/demo beat - took an old track and replaced all midi layers with VIVID and assigned similar sounds/effects as the original track. Parts are a bit muddy perhaps but this is all VIVID sounds over all but one layer (some fx..). Also just finished up the midi files - and used some of the drag/drop for elements in here - works like a charm
**Sorry in advance if you hate this genre, I'll try to create some country or rock next. Wait, no I won't who am I kidding. But maybe some orchestral/choirs crying you to sleep .

When the release happens, will we be sent a download link? Or do I need to bookmark the download page I got after preordering?

You are the official first person to order/pre-order - HUGE THANK YOU and I'm going to throw in something extra for you, not sure what yet but this is a big moment for me moving my first Kontakt piece .
EDIT: If there is anything else you see on the site that you like let me know.
You should have been sent a few emails and yes bookmark that link as I don't think we'll be doing an official email blast for this - however I will update this thread the moment we do (and it will be happening within the next week it looks like). *You'll also be able to simply click on the 'MEMBERS' link on any page on the site and follow through to your members area (i.e. if we update in the future or add on some freebies they'll be in there incase that link expires/you lose the emails..).
Thank you kindly Audington I appreciate you.
Norbz.

I'm going to honor everyone above this post and one more bonus person below me and that will wrap up the freebie.
Also, I'm asking this on other forums too - HOW MUCH WOULD YOU EXPECT TO PAY FOR THIS PACKAGE COMFORTABLY?
Be honest.
