Instead of copying track and deleting data I use this Reaper action
Item: Explode MIDI note rows (pitch) to new items

Thanx! I know this action. But as far as I know I got a new item for each row(pitch). But I need all toms in one item, 3 different hats in one item and sometimes two crashes in one item. Especialy with synths where I can vary the decay time, panorama setting and pitch of a sound over the keyboard octaves. So I had to copy certain items afterwards together again for one instrument. Therfore I do this by hand with more overview.

Correct. All new items will be on different tracks

For that I would select all items on different tracks and use custom action that I found on Reaper forum

The top five of osc 97 (Fortune-Cookie 2012) is uploaded for distribution on Spotify.

I found that osc 96 still wasn't showing up on Spotify so I 're-delivered' them.

Note : :!:
  • please make sure you send me the files in 'CD audio format'
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_D ... dio_format
tl/dr : The audio contained in a CD-DA consists of two-channel signed 16-bit Linear PCM sampled at 44,100 Hz.
  • or 320kb/s mp3
  • file names are case-sensitive, took me a while to figure out why *.Wav wasn't showing up in the portal :dog:

Hey OSC folks,

I just got a private message on my KVR page from someone named Vic:

>>>Though I have been using various synths on and off for a few years I am usually still missing something in the way of being able to get the feel I want. What will be very helpful is to be able to copy presets exactly, now when them they are missing a lot of what makes the sound it's sound. If you can copy the presets exactly and have even just a few minutes to show me one or 2 I'd really appreciate it. If you would also like to make some money during the processI am open to that too. Let me know if ya can help. Thanks, Vic<<<<

This seems fishy -- anyone else get something like this? I'm always suspicious of strangers offering me money and if it's a scam, then KVR should know about it.

Thanks.

I've gotten something like that before, but worded in a way where they wanted me to give them some software or asking about a torrent site or something.

You may or not may know we have a Slack channel for the One Synth Channel.
(auto join link https://one-synth-challenge.herokuapp.com/)

One thing that bothered me is that you have to setup an account with Slack and not everyone wants that.
I've discovered https://riot.im/
It's an open source instant messaging solution with .. there it comes Guest Login.
No need to enter email address, confirm stuff etc etc

I hear you thinking .. ok .. nice, so you want us to ditch Slack ? Nope.
Riot allows you to make bridges between different platforms including irc and ... Slack.
I've setup the bridge to the #general channel in Slack. Anything you post in the riot chatroom will be posted in the #general Slack channel and vice versa
  1. So if you wanna occasionally chat with other OSC-ers without adding accounts and such follow these simple steps
  2. go to https://riot.im
  3. click the 'door' icon
    Image
  4. login as guest
    Image
  5. search for the One Synth Challenge Room
    Image
  6. join the room
    Image
  7. optional: set display name
    Image
I hope some of you will find this useful.

That's a sample-based synth. Usually it's all about pure synthesis in the OSC.

My way of making music is incompatible with OSC rules, but I have a lot of respect towards those who take part of this competition...

kimik asked for annoying and *challenging* synth, try Komodo from this page:

http://www.krakliplugins.com/Plugins/

Only 32-bit Windows, though, but works (with Wine) in Linux.

Got my popcorn.
When does the 'OSC98' show start? :D
