I am attempting to do online experimental improvisation using skype, and could use some suggestions on set up.

I have 2 Rhode NT-1's, RME FF400, Win7 cubase.

I imagine we would both need to monitor via headphones. I would be recording what I am playing (through Rhode NT-1's) as well as the signal from skype of what my colleague is playing into Cubase. This is what I am not sure about. Is it possible to record what I am playing, and the signal from skype of what my collegue is playing separately?

I am not concerned about the delay or quality of sound using skype, that will be part of the experiment. But suggestions for other possible setups with less delay or better sound quality would be welcome.

Thanks for any suggestions here.
