I didn't think it was possible but Soniccouture finally figured out another way to get me to pay for classic drum machine sounds. For their new Electro-Acoustic library they recorded 15 classic drum machines live in studio, through a variety of signal chains, to produce one massive Kontakt Player/NKS compatible library.
Here's the intro trailier, but they have a whole playlist of videos describing the package.
P.S. For those of you who like to send different drum parts to separate DAW channels (which I do, and which is the reason I often avoid Kontakt/UVI drum sample libraries), Electro-Acoustic does offer the ability to send each drum channel to separate Kontakt outputs.

At first I like wha? yeah, whatevs... but that's actually pretty cool... like combining the acoustic drum resonance, plus the studio capture aspect of it as well. Nothing that couldn't be done from scratch, but certainly a lot of work to get a desired output that one of their kits may provide out of the box... hmmm.... might have to go on the list...
You need to limit that rez, bro.
