Hay sorry it came out like that. Muzys is obviously really good from the loyal fanbase. No insult intended . But theres a lot of complications when one app is associated with another. For marketing reasons companies usually like to have their own identity. They dont want to be seen as a conglomeration slapped together. And then of course theres the legal stuff with the updates and the pissed off Muzys user base. A lot can go wrong.

Perhaps it may be a legal tactic to avoid having to fulfill Muzys's "lifetime of free upgrades" obligation?

The "avoiding the free upgrades" thought was just some innocent speculation/conspiracy theorizing on my part... definitely not to be taken seriously!

Personally, I believe it's just you're typical commercial corporate non-disclosure stuff. All I really care about is that the unique performance and composition platform that is Muzys lives on... under whose commercial banner I don't really care.

I don't believe in any great master plan in the Muzys case. Here's my 2 cent: I think Jo just don't dare to make any new promises as he's only working on the new project in his spare time. And Muzys had to be deserted for financial problems. What I don't understand is why Jo is not more clear in this matter... everybody can understand if he had to take a job to make a living.
