I am investigating the issues with track deletion.
How did you create the tracks? Did you import MIDI?
Will you tell me how to reproduce this step by step?

i did import a midi, but then i don't remember how i added tracks(i think i added a blank track and can't dele it), but yes track with imported midi gets deleted.

sometimes i get 'undo not allowed during playback' in VST mode even if DAW is stoped.

the preview in the Chord-Suggestions-window doesn't seem to work, while I'm in the Idea-tool.

Hi Nextom,
I tried this on OS X and Windows but could not reproduce it. I suppose the chord preview worked outside the Idea Tool. I find no explanation for this at the moment.

Hello Attila!

A few minutes ago I just installed RC (last beta) on my wife's machine (to try some dialogs between the two machines via the local network).

It was the first time RC is installed on her machine.

When running RC for the first time (to enter the key code) I observed a behavior which could be misinterpreted by a new user and which can probably be fixed very easily: after having pasted the key code it is required to press Enter by the finger BEFORE clicking the validation button. If this pressure on the key 'Enter' by the finger is not made, the little window loops on the demand without telling why. A new user will probably wonder what happens. Maybe the step of a pressure on the key 'Enter' could be avoided before clicking on the button with the mouse... or be immediately considered as the validation of the submission as well as the click with the mouse on the button.

Another issue for the new user causes me headache: sometimes Windows inserts a different character for hyphen '-' when it pastes the license key which the program does not recognize. I have to fix this too.

Dear Attila and or fellow users,

I don't think this is a bug, but I've come back to RC after a prolonged break, and now - after installing the latest version - the audio breaks up and lags and is completely unusable.

I've tried setting a lower bitrate and longer/shorter buffer sizes, I've tried both generic ASIO and Windows MME, but no joy.

Any idea what might solve this?

Hi Caspar,

I do not have any ideas why audio does not work.

AFAIK no-one has such a problem.
Have you tried "Starting RapidComposer Without Audio" ?

It usually helps. Does audio work in other programs?

Mystery solved. My laptop was on Power Saver mode because of a long trip, and 50% processor speed just doesn't cut it

Briefly about the problems ...
1. It's impossible to quit the program. Only through forced quit.
2. The chord builder does not work, even if "show builder chord" is selected, i.e. I just do not see it.
Well of course it's all about OS X.
There is still, but yet, this is the main thing. Thank you !

Thank you, lulukom, I fixed the menu and uploaded the OS X beta again.

Sometimes I hear that Quit is not possible on OS X - I do not know the reason yet. It quits normally on my macbook. It would probably help if you start RC from the Terminal because during quitting helpful messages are displayed. Please send me the Terminal output.

You can start RC from the Terminal if you type
/Applications/RapidComposer.app/Contents/MacOS/RapidComposer

Hi!

I have no clue if this has been reported or not. I am in the process of setting up RC for the first time and ran into an issue with VST's. I copied the RC DLL into my VST folder so I could use it as a VST. (I'm using Reaper and that all works fine and all.) The problem is, I decided I wanted to set up my VST's in RC stand alone and I chose scan directory. What happened was, it found it's own DLL and tried to add itself to the list and crashed. It seems to be a recursive problem..
