TAL Sampler Hi-Hats

I use Logic Pro X and I've created a stack of tracks with an instance of TAL Sampler in each to make a drum kit. I'm having trouble getting hi-hats to function properly.
In a single instance, I put a closed hi-hat in one engine, and the open hi-hat in another engine. I set this instance to monophonic to imitate how a real hi-hat functions.
The problem I'm having is that the sample for the open hi-hat cuts off even when I'm pressing notes for other instances of TAL Sampler. I only want it to cut off when I press the note for the closed hi-hat.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

That was helpful thanks!ere2learn wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2017 7:12 pm In mono mode, not so good if your building kits unfortunately, but you could load 50 hat samples to a layer in mono mode & they'll cut each other off
