WOW! Super excited to see and hear this morning, I had no idea, thought it would be a year if ever. Then even more happy to hear it will be super attractive price for RePro owners, made my day! :tu:

And it sounds so good, that pad is lush.

That is what used to be so good with KVR forum, getting new info up front, often first :)

These days instrument sub-forum have turned into Off Topics in disguise, with so much b*llshit threads about lists, lists, lists for dis, dat, and most often nothing in particular (like finding disco strings for users too lazy to do it themselves) :(

Hi Urs,
Trying to decipher the German in the MusoTalk videos...did I hear you say there'll be a new reverb in Zebra 2.8?
And will it be possible to open RePro-1 presets in RePro-5?
Tx

Yes, the one from Hive (which is quick to use and sounds great)
And will it be possible to open RePro-1 presets in RePro-5?
Some yes, some no. The modulation routing is different.

Fantastic news on both counts!
I'm REALLY pleased about a new reverb in Zeb! I noticed the Delay module layout is different too, only 2 pots instead of the usual 4 ratio/pan pots...has the delay been changed too?

Great that R-1 patches can be opened in R-5, even if they won't sound exactly the same, it could lead to some happy discoveries.

Not on my machine - it's still 4 taps here...

Ok, I must be mistaken :tu:

I've always been intrigued by the prophet-5 and I'm not sure why. Maybe because the Pro-53 was my first decent analog emulation and I enjoyed the straight forward layout, or because some bands I've liked have used it in songs I really like synthwise, like Radiohead. Or because I like the look of the knobs... ;)

Anyways, I'm glad to see it getting a proper modern emulation as I never really thought the Arturia one quite felt right. And these little extras like the per voice distortion are perfect. The only other synth I can think of with per voice distortion is Falcon (many per voice effects actually).

I wonder if the original Prophet-5 harware sound banks will be included. Not that they are so special but I'm sure someone would do a comparison video.

Seems like an interesting synth, it might become a classic, all-you-need poly synth. Does it also have mono modes? (So that one doesn't need to buy Repro-1 :hihi: ).

Are the voices placed in an arbitrary manner? I remember testing some synth (don't remember what it was) that had such pan controls as well, but the order was always the same. So if you played, say, two notes, waited, played two more notes, waited, etc., it was as if the notes were glued to two pan positions (because the counter was reset), rather than randomly popping up across the panorama. Not sure I made myself understood, hard to describe :?

Microtuning, yeah! Sample & Hold, yeah again!
Repro-5 looks so tasty from here. I want to bite.....

It's sold as a bundle only.

The Hive reverb is excellent.
