It's sold as a bundle only.
Oh, I see.
You only need Sylenth1 anyway. :hihi:
As long as nothing better comes along, indeed :hihi: But who knows, Repro-5 looks pretty good so far. Hopefully it doesn't share much with Hive inside...
I wonder if it will eat away on Diva sales...

Just waiting eagerly for it to hit open beta.
Well, the Prophet 5 was a general bread-and-butter synth, that was used for all kinds of sounds. So it might indeed replace Sylenth1 for instance, at least for people like me that don't use supersaw and use it for classic synth sounds instead.
If Repro-5 turns out to be an excellent emulation of that hardware, it could indeed replace Diva for many people. The user interface seems so much better...

Will the two Cassette buttons be there as well? :hihi:

I think it might make sense to add a 2x4 and a 4x2 unison mode in order to allow for poly unison.

Personally, I don't think RePro-5 will replace Diva, because Diva strength is in its versatility. It's 5 different synths in one (truely) plus the custom combinations of oscillator(s), filters and envelopes. Diva also doesn't have a Prophet part, so IMO RePro-5 can be additional analogue synth to Diva. A different beast.

Now, for the future, if u-he want to make OB emulation, I think OB 8 is more logical because there is already an OSC and filter from OB-X or OB-Xa (if I'm not mistaken) in Diva.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

To be honest, I'm not even sure my little PC is going to handle the CPU usage yet. :hihi:
Same here :) But I'll soon have to build a new computer, anyway...

Sure, but many people probably don't even need that flexibility. I remember making some patches for the Memorymoon Prophet 5 emulation, it made some really nice sounds, and that despite being SynthEdit, so Repro-5 should be way superior in terms of sound quality.

By the way, why do people avoid mentioning the names of the original hardware synths in those videos? 8)

Potential legal problems, copyright issues and some kind of etiquette in the developer world. :hihi:
Weird, I mean, they basically copied the entire user interface, yet don't mention the name 8)

It is easy to know what RePro-5 will sound like cause it is close enough to RePro-1 in basic sound quality and character. There will be no JAWS and the drone stuff and arp and sequencer are not there... but the basic character is gonna be essentially the same.

The sound quality of RePro-1 is exceptional... so lovely and expressive! I'm excited to try RePro-5 too!!

Perfect, wouldn't use that, anyway. Jaws is interesting, though, but it would probably use too much CPU on an 8-voice synth.

Lawsuits. The U.S. is a litigious country.
