I think it's impressive that you own 130 rare and obscure Drum Machines and took the time to sample them all......

thanks Mega for helping the guy, I was away for the (long) weekend without connection.Megawattt wrote:Scotty wrote:Where do you get the vst versions, I donated and got the Kontakt versions without a vst link.
Hi Scotty.
If you created an account when ordering (Which you have to do to get Mega Drums) you have to click on the Your Account\Downloads button at the top of the page then you should see your vst links.
to Scotty: you probably put in cart the wrong version (the Kontakt version) and not the Plugin version.

the samples are the same used in th eMega Drum Collection for Kontakt. I didn't sample all this stuff, the samples have been around since forever, I just scripted and mapped them as Kontakt and as a Plugin. It has been a tough work nonetheless...Teksonik wrote:I think it's impressive that you own 130 rare and obscure Drum Machines and took the time to sample them all......

I Only managed to look into it today after a long weekend away from home.K-Bee wrote:There seem to be a bug though. It acts like a monophonic instrument in my DAW. Is it supposed to be like that? If I do, say, a 4 on the floor house beat it wont play the kick and snare at the same time. Snare drum rolls are abruptly cut short as well with the natural release missing.
Anyone else having this problem?
I think I discovered the problem. I simply made a stuid mistake and exported many instruments as monophonic.
Can you please confirm that "Acetone Rhythm Ace" loads correctly and it's poliphonic?
I will try to fix the affected instruments ASAP

I think Teksonik knows that hence the snarky comment.autodafe wrote:the samples are the same used in th eMega Drum Collection for Kontakt. But since you answered honestly and i thank you for that i have a question about the CHPT-1: Are the content sampled (or modified) from you or also collected?

CHPT-1 has some free samples in it but mostly I created the samples (I will say in a ratio of 20-80%).
CHPT-1 also shares some samples with my DRM-32 (the circuit bent stuff, some oscar, doepfer and modular stuff)

I have fixed the "Monophonic" instruments.
I really made a stupid mistake and exported most of the instruments (starting from letter F onwards) as monophonic.
I have now reuploaded the correct files.
I am sorry but you'll have to download it again and overwrite previous versions...

Hi Autodafe.
Many thanks again for your hard work, I have just tried your new version of Mega Drum Machines and can confirm that the monophonic problem and the SoundMaster SR-88 no sound problem is now fixed but the Casio Rapman drum kit is still crashing Reaper when trying to load it (I am running Windows 7 64bit, Reaper 64bit) is it also possible to add the function of at least 6 separate outputs to enable further sound processing on individual drum sounds ? This would make Mega Drum Machines really Mega

I am afraid multiout is not possible.
I made the plugin using Maize Sampler, will have a look into it if that's an option...

If you can add multi-out support to Kontakt or the Maize version I'll be donating again. I really like this collection. - Scotty

I can do it on the Kontakt Version quite easily (I only have to repeat the same task 150 times once for each instrument )
I think Maize also allows multi-outs (even in this case I have to repeat the same stuff over 130 times )
gosh
