Good question !

I looked at my Avenger account on vps-avenger.com, under the "Content" tab;
It still is version R2.

When the link eventually appears, it may be a good idea to backup custom content placed in Factory folder. Just in case.

we fixed many volume and clicking issues, wrong macro assignments, cpu optimizations and included many new presets in the ARP, Mod Env etc preset browsers. Furthermore added many presets for the new FX CHAIN browser and many many minor things, which I cant remember
It stays fully compatible to your old song files btw. So there is no reason, not to update your factory lib
Seriously, do I have to re-download the entire library?

Where can I download the update (R3)?

Post

why not offer a library content update

Here's another well deserved review of Avenger:

R2 is the most recent one... R3 was a typo

and yes, you have to download the 4,5GB file again

which part is updated, which part do we update and how?

Decided to be brave, I did backup the existing Avenger folder.

Download content ,open Avenger , open sys tab/content , click import content, locate content download and GO. All seems fine

Cumbersome to have to download the whole 4.5 GB content file again, just to have it updated.
So 2 feature requests, right away:

- Let Avenger pop up a notification that the Content file has been updated
Just as it does when there is an Avenger update available (terrific solution!).

- Make the update as a patch, so we won't have to download the whole 4.5 GB, everytime it gets updated.

Muchos Gracias In Avenger Advance ! :D

Agreed! Absolutely amazing, versatile synth!

I dragged and dropped R2 content in avenger. It did not take that much time (for being 4.5 GB). Should I completely delete the R1 content before I drag and drop the R2 content?

A clarification would be welcome.

PS. I needed to use firefox for downloading the content. Microsoft Edge did not work / let me download the content. DS.

Compared to many other synths, there are frequently updates and new features.
Realy nice, you feel that the developers are totaly in love with their synth

On mac, the new content version just replaces the old content version.
I assume it's the same on Windows.
For me, the download of R2 took me half an hour (i have a very fast internet connection), which i find abit cumbersome.
