Hi,
nice to see all those little updates, keep it up!
What is new in the R2 content file? Size doesn't seem to have changed? Do I have to delete the R1 contents first?
Thanks.

@FRZ
what you describe there is basically impossible. Could you please write to Rene and explain, what in your opinion had changed exactly (with an example)
Like I said, we cant imagine how this should be possible, since your preset are saved in your song

Hmm...is this true?frz wrote:This morning I've opened a project done a couple of months ago containing some 15 instances of Avenger, all the sounds were made from scratch on version 1.0.x
Now I'm running 1.1.2 and some of those synths sound very different, the mix, timbres, and levels noticeably altered, the song was basically unusable - wasn't funny at all and my heart skipped a couple of beats, I guess you can imagine.
Luckily I kept the installers for every single update and when I downgraded to version 1.0.34 all the sounds were correct again and I've been able to deliver the mix.
Is there any known backward compatibility problem regarding patches made on versions earlier than 1.1? Workarounds to have everything work on the latest update?
Thanks

This is the same exact sequence with 5 different instances of avenger.
I rendered, closed the project, installed 1.1.2, opened the project and rendered again.
If what I said before it's impossible the renderings should sound exactly the same - you tell me:
Avenger 1.0.34 https://mega.nz/#!sdAGVRDD!C5FSZ0NwH3lh ... L10ap0tnBo
Avenger 1.1.2

Miscommunication and not correctly listening to eachother anymore is one of those "great" flaws of today's Crap World.frz wrote:Yes, and I said: the patches were done from scratchmsvs wrote:I said: please send it to Rene, we cant give support here in a board (keilwerth@vengeance-sound.com)

Well, really here you don't "listen" what others write.vanhaze wrote:Miscommunication and not correctly listening to eachother anymore is one of those "great" flaws of today's Crap World.
Joking aside, I would like to know more about the new synthesis mode.
Happy weekend to all.

Well, say what you want - but Vengeance Sound/Keilwerth Audio have rocked VPS Avenger since release. Steve Duda has been working on just being able to increase Serum's GUI/UX to proper high definition/4K... for two years.
But Vengeance Sound/Keilwerth Audio have released several awesome updates since release.
I'm so glad I picked up Avenger - love this synth!!!

i think its wrong to throw dirt on steve duda like that. He as well was very good with updates in beginning, like you even got serum as fx plugin. The serum gui is much better on ordinary HD displays something vegeance has improved from before but need still improvement imo. I think both has done a tremendous job. avenger is my go to synth but i still admit they did a good job on serum. The gui is just great on serum and a shame they havent figured out 4k yet but im sure when its released it will be really stable.EnochLight wrote:Well, say what you want - but Vengeance Sound/Keilwerth Audio have rocked VPS Avenger since release.
