Maybe a quick Pendle vid for this feature?

Well to be honest I don't know the different modes yet or why gate is not an 'active' mode - I mean I play stuff I hear it arpeggiating, so I'm not sure what aspect of it isn't active?

Anyway, that aside I tried as you suggested and it works, I just need to now figure out why it works. :D

Maybe 'active' wasn't the luckiest word to use here, what I meant, is that it records only notes generated by arpeggiator, not midi input. When arp is off, it generates noting, when it's in gate mode, is doesn't generate any notes either, just modulating the volume. Any other arp mode will generate notes which will be recorded.

FR: Make pitch adjustable per arp step. Click on Pitch button/box to activate pitch per step; click and drag each step to adjust.
When Pitch is not activated, it could default to velocity or else have a velocity choice button/box.

Unless I'm missing something, time funnel can only adjust the pitch of the whole arp, resulting in each step playing the same pitch.

For an example of adjustable pitch, please see 3:14 of this video:

Is arp with pitch sequencer still an arp?

Post

Not sure, maybe it's poly step sequencer.

not for me - I'd rather keep it as is. There's enough complexity in this instrument as it is

Post

It could easily stay (look/feel) the same as it is now with only the arp feature engaged.
More interested users might have an option of clicking on one added button (pitch/polystep) in order to affect those parameters. They would have the choice of using arp or polystep for each sound source.

Either way, it's a great instrument.

It has been great watching pendle and the zombie queen (in particular) working through issues in complexity and usability over the last few years

I'm not getting notifications so I keep missing you lot chatting behind my back : )

Thanks for stepping in in my absence Zombie Queen.

What excited my the most about the INFUNDIBULUM concept when I first started fiddling around with the idea wasn't so much the actual notes, notes are over-rated, you've already got your DAW if you want to record notes !
What I like is the 'melodic' texture that is generated by the combination of sounds, the odd timing phases and the looping and stretching artifacts. I like the happenstance stuff that you couldn't necessarily think up yourself that emerges like scotch mist from the time funnel.

...and incidentally the intro offer wears off this weekend, so get yer skates on it you want to save some money : )

Are the arp modes, speed & other parameters that are accessible via discousure triangle mouse clicks midi cc learnable? So you can change from up & down to other modes via midi cc? Or double the speed in the middle of a phrase, etc?
My progressive rock band - free demos here!! (and if you do listen please let me know what you think!) http://www.aeonsatori.com/news/free-downloads

No, dropdown menus are not automatable in Kontakt. There would have to be a scripted workaround to automate them.
