Dr. An Peischel of Tennesse State University told me. “I am a goat producer and don’t consider it entertainment at all.”
“The individuals making the noises were not all goats,” wrote Dr. Peischel, “There are several sheep involved.”

I actually agree. I saw some slagging from others, but I hate that too. There was one recently where this dude said "know what I'm sayin" more than showing what the hell he was trying to convey.tapiodmitriyevich wrote:Haha, it is just an observation. Also a wish. I wish I'd find more producers of tutorials making decent music. Like... classical. Or IDM.
But 90% of everything is either this:
"Hey yo, yo, yo, man, bruh, look, Studio one, dope dope man, ynowwhamean, yo, you take this tang, drop it, yo, booom! yo, dope, see, ynowamean, it's, it's, yo, this is how I do it, yknowimean" - *emits some hiphop stuff* - I wonder where those guys learned to talk.
And the others: They do not talk like that braindead ghetto style, but always end up emitting some kind of EDM, supersaw boom boom wobble boom bang.
Oh how I wish for more tutorials pleasing for my ears
But it's like everything else (and not calling myself an expert) ... most of it is William Hung.

Why bonus points?Vortifex wrote:This is by far the best production tutorial on YouTube. Bonus points for the pirated Sylenth.
...
A) He can afford Sylenth.
B) It is just theft.
C) The Sylenth team are members of this forum.
Looks like the fat douche was dropped by his label soon afterwards, though the plot then thickened when he denied that the laptop was his..

Regardless of the dodgy video content Vortifex, probably best not to highlight the use of pirated software on this forum.

I think he's meaning bonus with it done up in such an OTT way in such an OTT location (I honestly thought it was a parody to start with!) with the addition of said pirated software

True, mcbpete, it was a shit tutorial video.
Also true, TCC, but it's hard to tell in written post comments if someone is being sarcastic or not about the use of pirated software.
Best not to bring the issue up surely?

I absolutely adore FrankJavCee. His magic combo of subtle patronising, bone-dry comedy, soft lilting tone, and actual information works an actual charm !

Frankly, i wondered too why Presonus caters Studio One to that crowd. Doesn't shed a good light on their userbase.tapiodmitriyevich wrote:Haha, it is just an observation. Also a wish. I wish I'd find more producers of tutorials making decent music. Like... classical. Or IDM.

"Doesn't shed a good light on their userbase." Just because you choose to lebal the entire group of people by the daw they use doesn't make it true. Keep bringing up you're post count. Doing a great job.chk071 wrote:Frankly, i wondered too why Presonus caters Studio One to that crowd.
