Yep, never bought it, because I knew that it wasn't that exciting. In fact, this thread reveals that more people should listen to my advice.

Yeah. It has that ghetto vibe to it, and i always felt it was pretty gangsta too.

This. And that: Z3ta2. Horrible, screechy, grating sound (imo, naturally, I know many seem to love it) and pain in the ass to program (endless dropdown menus and menus nestled within menus).
.
Ah yeah, that one is also lying around completely unused here.

Maybe it's the fact people around here use their hard earned money and not just torrents for their phat beatz making needs, so yeah, getting 500 bucks synth loaded with tons of obscure cinematic patches for something that could be done with Proteus VX and Synth1 is beyond ridiculous for any serious KVR-ian.

Have I mentioned Klopfgeist already? Far too rigid in its timing....

Yeah and it's not the synth you bought, but got free with Logic purchase. :ud:

Are you sure about that? That would be a disaster!

I learned from you people (thank you): I always try the demo and avoid plugins without decent transfer policies and support, unless I am willing to accept that I may end up with something I can't get rid of. I also learned to wait... you get the better deals when you wait. Nothing to me is so essential I have to by it right away.

So with that in mind, and taking into consideration price and going in with eyes-wide-open, I don't have any purchase regrets. And I have TONS of both instruments and effects.

Whew! Thanks again for steering in the right direction.

Pretty sure it's Logic's own stock synth, try to sell Klopfgeist to someone and tell me how that went. :tu:

I demo and listen to lots of demos before buying anything so I don't have many "regrets" around but some synths (because of workflow mainly) were not used much and resold:

1.- Largo, the preset system has some quirks that annoy me.

2.- Hive, as a VA I prefered DIVA character.

3.- Bazille, over my head, I couldn't get it with. Wish I could because some people program excellent stuff with it.

4.- Harmor, I never could program stuff to my liking.

Ok, maybe there is one I really regret getting: Circle 2, I loved Circle 1 and I was looking forward to version 2, they made changes to the GUI that I didn't like and the worst change was the filter, they changed the sound a lot and I longer found it inspiring.

Same. Mainly due to better alternatives for the things i'd do with it. If they rewrote the sound engine, and built in better filters, they'd be totally in the game, because, feature wise, Z3TA is still classy nowadays. Won't happen though, i guess.

Moreover never use rather than regret...

guess anything cakewalk, novation oh and i-wish. Npot techically a synth but kind of close. Total overpriced dross! Just a personal cant get on with it or get satisfying usable results.
